Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were extremely large and provided a beautiful view of the bay and gardens. It felt more like a suite than a standard room, with ample space and comfort. I especially enjoyed the view of the bay and the hotel's grazing horse right outside.
The hotel had some charming traditional rooms, but they showed signs of wear and tear, especially in the bathroom with a small setup and lacking in tea and coffee facilities. Despite not feeling like a 5-star standard, the location was convenient near nice cafes and restaurants.
Staying at this hotel was such a delight! The rooms were beautifully facing the gardens, water, and hills beyond, all while being very affordable. The luxurious details like velvet curtains and gleaming glassware added a touch of elegance. The service was exceptional, with staff always going above and beyond and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the vibrant town of Kenmare and easy access to stunning drives in SW Ireland. The dining experience was fantastic with a variety of choices and top-notch service. Overall a wonderful stay with just a few minor drawbacks.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were very large with a lovely four-poster bed and a fabulous view over the manicured lawns at the back of the hotel. Although there were a few minor issues like no iron board, iron, safe, A/C, or wine glasses, the beautiful view over town with the hills and chapel in the background made me feel central at all times.
